Palmetto Acupuncture Clinic was opened in Spring of 2003 by Martin Herbkersman, D.Ac. to accommodate the underserved Columbia South Carolina area in the fields of Acupuncture, Oriental Medicine, and Nutritional Medicine. Since then we have performed thousands of treatments and have dispensed as much herbal and nutritional medicine to patients for many types of ailments. We are combining the wisdom and time proven efficacy of a Chinese Medicine with modern methods of complementary and alternative medicine, to bring our patients to a higher state of balanced health. We believe only those who are National Board Certified in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine should be performing acupuncture and dispensing herbs.
